Septic Waste Hauling

Septic Waste Hauling Handled From Pickup to Proper Disposal

Septic waste can't be dumped, buried or poured down a storm drain. It has to be pumped into a truck built to carry it and taken to a facility approved to receive it. A shortcut anywhere along the way can lead to fines, contamination and a cleanup bill.

Cowboy Miller Septic Pumping hauls septic waste for businesses and properties from our home base in Deerfield. Our trucks run throughout Stark, Columbiana, Mahoning, Carroll, Portage and Summit counties, and we've been in business since 1964.

How a Septic Waste Haul Works

01

Tell Us What Needs to Go

Let us know what kind of waste you have, roughly how much and where it's located. You'll get a free estimate before anything is scheduled.

02

We Load the Truck

Our crew pumps the waste straight from the tank or collection point into the truck, so nothing sits exposed on your property.

03

Deliver to an Approved Facility

The load goes to a site permitted to accept it. You don't have to track down a disposal location or arrange a second pickup.

What Counts as Septic Waste

Septic waste, often called septage, is the mix of liquid and settled solids that collects in tanks holding sewage. It carries bacteria and other contaminants, which is why Ohio treats it differently from regular trash.

Grease trap waste is a separate stream. It comes from commercial kitchens and is mostly fats, oils, grease and food solids. We haul both, and each one goes where it's allowed to go.

Not sure which category your waste falls into? Describe it when you call, and we'll tell you whether we can take it.

Septic Waste Hauling Questions

  • Do businesses need records of septic waste hauling?

It's a good idea to keep one. Inspectors and sewer districts sometimes ask for proof of where waste went and when it was removed. Hold onto the paperwork from each haul and file it with your maintenance records.

  • Is emergency septic waste hauling available?

Yes. Our office runs weekdays and Saturday mornings, and emergency service is available when an overflow or backup can't wait.

When to Schedule a Waste Haul

Most hauls are routine, but a few situations call for a quick response:

  • A high-level alarm on a holding tank
  • Odors or standing wastewater near a tank or collection point
  • A notice from your sewer district or local health department
  • An overflow that needs to be cleared before it spreads
